RV Roof Repair with EPDM and Liquid Rubber

If your RV has a damaged roof with leaks, then you could be suffering a great deal of stress and concern. To save yourself from this distress, you would want to use a reliable and long lasting product. EPDM solves the immediate and long-term problems of roofing. Its recurring membrane resistance to fatigue, its intense resistance to ozone as well as weathering and scratches, its flexibility during low temperatures and its durability against thermal shocks are its unique features.

For more than 30 years, EPDM rubber in sheet form has been in use. The Liquid Rubber is a new form of the EPDM rubber with the only difference that it is in liquid form which turns to regular solid EPDM rubber roofing after drying. Liquid rubber provides a flawless, single coat; roof coating that can be applied up to 6 times thicker than your standard elastomeric.

It is not a coating but chemically is part of the rubber it is applied to. In short, it combines all the benefits of EPDM rubber roofing with the flexibility of using a liquid. So use it over your RV roof without any fear and you will surely appreciate the results.

Have a happy camping with liquid rubber!!!!

Sounds like a better long term solution for RV EPDM roof repair, however a sheet 60 mil EPDM can be found for approx. the same cost.

Can Liquid Roof/Rubber be placed over existing EPDM elastomeric type coatings?

There are some EPDM coatings available with 5, 10 and 15 year warranties, with fairly good specifications. A few do not require a base or primer cote. and some are approx. 1/2 the cost.

I think the issue may be time, cost and the amount of labor. If a coating is going to last e.g. 10 to 20 years vs 5 to 10 years the Liquid Roof appears to be the winner ...
